Great article in New York Times blog

I recently stumbled across this great blog at the New York Times. Its called Caring for Aging Parents.

Here is a link to their most recent post, called The Caregiver Next Door. It was a really great and inspiring article. It made me think about the fact that I don't really know many of the neighbors around me.

I've lived in this apartment for about a year now, and I have yet to introduce myself to my next door neighbors.

At Allcare, we've been focusing on volunteerism and spreading good, but maybe I'm missing a great opportunity to help out people within a 500 foot radius of my own house... I'm going to make an effort to be more observant and aware of my surroundings.

Who knows, maybe I can aspire to be just like Jane in the blog :)
